Membership

Desert Irish Wolfhounds (DIWA) is so much more than "just a dog club". It is an organization where members, united by their love of the Irish Wolfhound, come together in support of those needing Irish Wolfhound advice.

DIWA is also a place where members in need can reach out for personal support. The member network is strong whether you need a veterinarian reference or someone to help care for your dog(s) in a crisis.

Comprised of members with decades of experience with Irish Wolfhounds, and those who just love the breed but have yet to own an Irish Wolfhound, and everything in between, DIWA membership is right for you. We can and do support our members in many areas providing opportunities to enjoy both your dog and the company of other Irish Wolfhound owners in Arizona.

Health topics specific to Irish Wolfhounds are distributed to members through internal communications via group emails, in our closed Facebook group or on the members only pages of the website.  Either way, there is always something to learn and something to gain by becoming a member of DIWA.

​

Active in the communities of Tucson, Prescott and Phoenix, DIWA participates in St. Patrick's Day parades and in Irish and Scottish heritage gala events. Members attend and bring their dogs for pleasure and for purposes of education of people who might be interested in acquiring an Irish Wolfhound now or in the future.
